Coopers approached us with an issue — with the rise in popularity of craft beer, awareness of the art of Coopers brewing technique had been lost. So how do we get it back? Our solution was to create a National Trade Incentive program which would benefit Australian bar staff, Venue owners and Coopers Beer.
The program was run through an online portal and was a fun, non-patronising and interactive way for bar staff to re-learn why Coopers bottles and kegs needed to be rolled and shaken. Two rounds of Mystery Shops gave evidence of the before and after.
As a reward for participating, we put on an epic party for NSW, WA and QLD. We curated an awesome line-up, found great venues, put on delicious food and of course an endless supply of Coopers.
Sales increased 10 fold in response, and the wonderful people in our Australian hospitality industry reignited their passion for the great beer that is Coopers.
